This week on the podcast, Jackie, Jonny, and Ty are joined by their favourite drunk irishman, dear friend of the podcast, and better than average comedian, Daragh Turner! Long time listeners might remember Daragh from an episode months ago when he called in to let the gang know that he was bailing on them, but don't hold that against him. Daragh brought in Big L's 1995 album, and only album released while he was alive, "Lifestylez ov da Poor & Dangerous", and it is an absolute classic. If you're a hip hop fan and haven't listened to this album, what are you doing with your life? Before they get into the music, though, the gang delves into Daragh's comedic process (drinking heavily), Irish park jobs, why you should never trust a therapist who does comedy, and the fellas' experiences with cases of misidentified ladies' underwear. This week on the podcast, Jackie, Jonny, and Ty get into Potato Pirates' 2011 album "Tried and True Black and Blue", or more specifically, Jonny's unforgettable experience seeing them live at Punk Rock Bowling on a night he will never be allowed to forget. Before we they get to the music, though, the gang delves into some pressing food-related stories. One involving the once in a lifetime chance to receive at least a year and a half's worth of subs at the low low cost of permanently changing your first name to Subway. Because when has Subway ever gone wrong throwing their entire brand behind one spokesperson?? They also debate the pros and cons (mostly cons) of the "pay it forward" phenomenon, another ploy designed just to KEEP THE LITTLE GUY DOWN. This is a music podcast, sorta.

This week on the podcast, Jackie, Jonny, and Ty are joined by the extremely talented and hilarious comedian, songwriter, and musician extraordinaire, Harris Anderson! Harris brought in Neil Young's amazing 1979 album "Rust Never Sleeps" and in a shocking turn of events, the gang actually discussed music this time. This almost never happens. In addition to Mr. Young, they also dive deep into the comedic process and all the many ups and downs (a lot of downs) that comes with it. Harris is a multi-talented artist and an even better person, and this Saturday (August 5th, 2023) he is taping his first ever special live at The MOTN in East Van, and you all should be there. If you need further convincing, just check out his 2018 album "Above and Beyond", his 2022 EP "Songs No One Asked For", or his 2021 single "Joe Rogan". He's a busy guy! This week on the podcast, Jackie, Jonny, and Ty tried to get into Parliament's fifth studio album "The Clones of Dr. Funkenstein"... and failed miserably. Not gonna lie, there's nothing about the album in here. Instead, the gang took some time to catch up on what they've been doing with their summers, including one amazing experience performing comedy at a music festival, and another not so amazing experience performing comedy at a different music festival. They also delve into more blind spots, such as a particularly puzzling shower head, and a case of mistaken identity in the realm of seasoning. And, of course, this episode wouldn't be complete without getting into the story SWEEPING the globe about one particularly crafty otter stealing surfboards and getting rad. Locals only, bro. Apologies for the sudden end to this episode, as we had a guest arrive and we are nothing if not great hosts. We swear next week we'll dedicate more than 30 seconds to the album... probably. Back to our regularly scheduled programming. This week on the podcast, Jackie, Jonny, and Ty discuss a long debated album amongst our Bubble Boy and Ole Ty Ty... It's The Clash's "Sandinista!"
