EP 74 - Shania Twain - ”Come On Over”

This week on the podcast, Jackie, Jonny, and Ty discuss Shania Twain's MONUMENTAL, ICONIC 1997 hit country/pop/rock album, Come On Over. Our most decorated album on the pod so far by a landslide. My god, this is a good one. Best selling country album of all time, best selling album by a Canadian of all time, best selling album by a female artist of all time, 40 million copies sold worldwide, 12 out of the 16 tracks were singles... We could go on, but suffice to say this album kicks serious ass. Anyone who grew up in the '90s/early 200s surely remembers the majority of these songs, and rest assured they still slap. Shania is an icon and an inspiration, we also recommend everyone check out her new documentary on Netflix, "Not Just A Girl". Of course, there is also some preamble at the beginning about a man who claimed Bigfoot forced him to kill his noodling partner while they were out catching catfish. Another example of irresponsible citizens of Oklahoma dragging the noble Sasquatch's name through the mud. This is a music podcast, sorta.
