EP 72 - Modest Mouse - ”The Lonesome Crowded West”

This week on the podcast, Jackie, Jonny, and Ty get into Modest Mouse's 1997 indie rock/punk album, "The Lonesome Crowded West". And, oh boy, this is a great one. You bet your biscuits Jackie takes the opportunity to talk about The OC, and Ty and Jonny talk about skateboarding. A real Show Me Yours classic. But first, a deep dive into a man, a car chase, and a severed penis. That's right, imagine watching a high speed car chase on your TV, only to see the vehicle being pursued suddenly hurl a projectile out the window and find out that it is indeed the driver's own recently severed penis, because, naturally, the radio told him to do it. Which begs the question, what fucking radio stations or kids listening to these days? And why can't kids control their emotions? These are the questions we aren't afraid to ask. This is a music podcast, sorta.
